Before you take the plunge,

here's a few things we'd like you to bear in mind.

Under 8s Admission

Children under the age of 8 years must accompanied in the pool at all times by an adult (over 16yrs), with no more than 2 children to 1 adult.

Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied in the pool by an adult on a one-to-one basis. However, if children are wearing appropriate buoyancy aids, the ratio can be 2 children to 1 adult.

Buoyancy aids accepted under the policy are those that fully support the child's weight in water and remain secure in and out of the water e.g. armbands or a float suit. Hand-held buoyancy aids are not considered appropriate.

Abusive or Threatening Behaviour

Staff and customers have the right to be in an environment which is free from foul and/or abusive language and the threat of violence or aggression. Anyone not respecting this right will be asked to leave immediately. Failure to do so will result in the police being called. Appropriate legal action may be taken against any individual who uses abusive or threatening behaviour towards staff or customers.

Swimming Pool Dress Code

For safety reasons, the following items must not be worn in the pool; T-shirts/polo shirts, shorts below the knees, masks or snorkels.

Changing Rooms

No outdoor footwear is permitted in the changing room or poolside. The Changing rooms are maintained to a high service standard. If they fall below expectations please speak to a member of staff. Where applicable we would ask that footwear be removed before entering the changing facilities.

The use of photographic equipment is not allowed on the leisure centre premises unless prior permission has been given. This includes video cameras and mobile phones.

Make sure your details are up to date and we'll let you know when class spaces are available.
